Preuil's Castle

Welcome to Preuil's Castle, on the borders of the Berry region and Bourdonnais. This residence built at the beginning of the 19th century overlooks 21 hectares of parkland, meadows and woods and has, for the most pleasant of stays, an independent family cottage with a private swimming pool and a shared tennis court. You will love the site's originality of the cottage, offering both large spaces and comfortable privacy. Our cottage is equipped to accommodate any person in a situation of reduced mobility. Last but not least, if you wish, Marie, your Hostess, will delight you with her tastings at the Castle.

Discover French Castle life

The classical style Castle was built in 1844 by Adrien AUGIER, son of Baron Jean-Baptiste AUGIER, Napoleon's general. The property comes from a division of the Bigny's Castle estate between the children of Baron AUGIER, including Adrien. The English-style park was designed by the Count of CHOULOT, landscape architect, who in 1858 created the landscape town of Vésinet under Napoleon's request.

Perfect Halt

No complaints about this guest room where you are perfectly welcomed. Superb room, surrounding park with a pond in which you can swim and you'll have a breakfast worthy of the best hotels. As wheat intolerant, the hostess had made a delicious cheesecake for breakfast. And since she's a great cook, all the rest of the services were perfect (jams, homemade yogurts, wedding tea, etc.). We just can't wait to make a detour next time, to enjoy it longer.

From our spacious and comfortable room to the copious and quality breakfast, everything was done to make our stay pleasant.
